we'd be right back

Hello all,
In the last 2 weeks we were traveling in Yunnan province in China's south west. Many different minorities live in this province which adds a lot of colour to this trip. We visited Dali, Lijiang, Zhongdian and Deqing and hiked in the Tiger Leaping Gorge and in Yulong and Meili Snow Mountains.
Dali's and Lijiang's old cities are very pretty with their narrow streets, wood carved doors and Bahi and Naxi colorfully dressed women. We joined a Kung-Fu lesson in WeiSi Monastery which was both fascinating and painful ;).
But the greatest experience was joining a group of Chinese we made friends with in Yibung village (In the Meili Snow Mountain Reserve) and together we joined 3 local Zhan minority people who made their pilgrimage to the sacred waterfall. Together we learned about the stone forest, pray flags and sacred trees and we were reborned through a cave and cleared from our seens by running under the waterfall - getting completely wet and very cheerful in the process ;)
The following pictures will give you some taste of these last 2 weeks.
But first a debt from Mongolia - the first 3 are from our last expedition in Mongolia to Terelj National park
